Join our efforts to save Loveland's Feed and Grain building.

The 115-year-old building is one of the most historic buildings in Loveland. It is one of the few remaining reminders of Loveland’s agricultural roots and is listed on the local register of historic places. National recognition is underway.

In February 2006 this landmark building was under consideration for demolition. Thanks to the outpouring of support from the community the demolition application was denied by both the Loveland Historic Preservation Commission and the Loveland City Council.

Although the immediate threat of demolition has been evaded, there is still much to be done in order to see it restored and used again.

We are a group of concerned citizens who want to see this piece of history rehabilitated and reused for the benefit of the Loveland community. Some of the options on the table include an arts center, a fresh market, or community center. There could be space included for restaurant and specialty retail.

Novo Restoration, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit group formed in response to the Feed and Grain proposed demolition, is taking a leading role in the rehabilitation of the building. Novo is partnering with other organizations and individuals to facilitate the rehabilitation of the project.

Novo's goals for the building are to preserve the historic integrity to the best of our ability and to maintain public access and community use. Novo's vision is one of a vibrant community gathering place, and an asset to the downtown community.
